TACTICAL HELMET SOLDIER 2000 (II AND IIIA)
The HV/CATO series tactical helmet is made from a advanced thermoplastic aramid composite. The helmet has one of worlds highest performance to weight ratio with V50 speeds reaching up to 710 m/s. The helmet has been developed by CATO composites based on the production technology of GA partner DTC for the Scandinavian soldier 2000 program. The shell of the helmet is larger than the USPAGT version to give it the ability to wear communication gear underneath the helmet, but also to reduce the risk on head trauma. For this reason the helmet is preferred by special forces and tactical teams.
